Method of Preparation

Keep margarine at room temperature. Mix margarine, applesauce, sweetening, sifted flour, soda, cloves and cinnamon together. Take a bowl and add pecans, raisins or dates and a few spoons of the flour mixture. Mix thoroughly until the pecans and fruit are finely coated. Mix them well and bake in tube pan. Line the bottom of the pan with wax paper and bake. The smooth and soft cake is ready. This cake tastes like fruit cake.
