Mr. Spurlock in this film characterised as a person wholly dependent only on Mc.Donald s food and every time some one offered a super size meal, he would accept the same without hesitation.



In the film he will be subjected to many interviews and one will be able to watch how his body is getting affected. One will be awe struck to see a person who is afflicted with serious disease of diabetes and still taking junk food that are capable of doing severe damage to his health including death.

The sad truth is that he is the not the only person in US who suffer from diabetes. Still there are people who live with diabetes without even knowing that they have contracted the dreaded disease. In a study undertaken, it was estimated almost 18 million people are known to suffer from diabetes and nearly 20 percent of them do not even aware of their disease.

American diabetes is acquiring a huge proportion and is becoming a great problem in US today. American diabetes is one of the six major diseases that US is most concerned about and has resulted in many deaths during the year 2002 and continue to bother the entire American Health system even today.

In an event of finding a viable cure for diabetes, the American economy can save a whopping sum of $6 trillion in the next 30 years.

However, few alternative treatment or methods can assist in controlling the effects of diabetes. For example, a little effort to educate the patients to take up regular exercise and have a control over their diet can go a long way in coping with the effects of diabetes and in turn help the government to reduce the expenditure.
