Method of Preparation

Mix water, oil, raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg. Boil altogether for about 3minutes. Allow it to cool. Dissolve salt and soda in combined liquid sweetener and water. Add this to beaten eggs. Stir into cooled mixture. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to that mixture. Mix well. Add nuts and mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful into a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until it is light brown in colour. Then the crispy fruit cookies are ready to taste. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
