Method of Preparation

Add margarine, vanilla and egg together and beat well to get a creamy consistency. Take a large bowl, sift all the dry ingredients together and add water, dates, prunes, dry ingredients, and nuts to the creamed mixture. Spread in a cookie sheet pan. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes or more until it is lightly brown. Delicious bars are ready to taste.
